Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (B.Tech/B.E.): Full-time B.Tech or B.E. in Electronics, Electricals, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

What is the Salary / Stipend for STPI Apprenticeship 2026?
STPI pays its apprentices as per the NATS monthly stipend structure, released via DBT through the NATS portal after attendance upload each month:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.Tech/B.E.): ₹15,000 per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month
- Graduate Apprentice (B.A./B.Com.): ₹12,300 per month
In-hand during training ranges from ₹10,900 to ₹15,000 per month, credited directly to the NATS-registered bank account.
No TA/DA, HRA, or medical reimbursement is offered during apprenticeship. The training is for one year and confers no claim for permanent appointment with STPI.
What is the Selection Process for STPI Apprenticeship 2026?
The selection is a clean single-round interview process. The stages are:
- Online applications are shortlisted based on qualification percentage and stream.
- Shortlisted candidates receive an interview call via email with the date, time, and mode (in-person or online).
- Final merit list is prepared strictly on interview marks — there is no written exam.
- Selected candidates are allocated to one of the 9 STPI centres based on merit and option chosen.
