Salary & Stipend for ALIMCO Apprenticeship 2026

ALIMCO pays stipend strictly as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 — meaning the monthly amount follows the Government of India’s notified rates for Trade and Technician apprentices and is revised by the Centre from time to time.

  • Stipend slab for ITI apprentices is fixed as per the Act, paid monthly, directly to the candidate’s bank account.
  • Stipend slab for Diploma apprentices is higher and is paid via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) through the NATS portal.
  • Working hours during training are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, matching ALIMCO’s standard shift.

No TA/DA, no boarding, and no lodging will be provided by ALIMCO. Candidates must arrange their own stay and travel to Kanpur.

The training gives exposure to ALIMCO’s rehabilitation aid production line, quality control, CNC workshops, plastic moulding, and assembly — a solid profile to carry into later PSU or private-sector interviews.
