Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Recruitment 2025

Key Eligibility Conditions
- Year of Passing: Only candidates who have passed their qualifying B.E./B.Tech or Diploma course in the years 2022, 2023, or 2024 are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed out before 2022 are not eligible.

- Experience: Candidates with one year or more of job experience or prior apprenticeship training after obtaining their qualification are NOT eligible.

DRDO Apprentice Salary & Benefits (Stipend)
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act. This stipend is meant to support the apprentice during their training period.
- Graduate Apprentice Stipend: ₹9,000/- per month
- Technician Apprentice Stipend: ₹8,000/- per month
It is important to note that this is a training engagement for one year. No other allowances such as TA/DA, HRA, or transport will be provided. The establishment will not provide any quarter or hostel accommodation.
Selection Process
The selection process for the DRDO CHESS Apprenticeship is purely merit-based and does not involve a written examination or interview. The steps are as follows:
- Shortlisting based on Academic Merit: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks they have secured in their essential qualifying examination (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma).
- Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. At this stage, they must produce all original certificates and documents submitted with the application.
