Eligibility Criteria for BSF Sports Quota

Candidates must meet the following criteria as of the closing date of the application.

Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation (10th Class) Pass: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

Sports Qualification

  • Players who have participated or won medal(s) in International or National competitions between 15/01/2024 to 15/01/2026.
  • Individual Events:
    • International: Participation or Medal winner in tournaments recognized by IOC/IOA/MoYAS.
    • National: Medal winner in National Games, Senior National Championship, National Open Championship, or Youth/Junior National Championship.
  • Team Events:
    • International: Participation or Medal winner.
    • National: Medal winner in National Games, Senior National Championship, etc.
  • Note: You must be a main playing member of the team.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 23 Years
  • Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 Years (Up to 28 Years)

Salary and Benefits

  • Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100
