The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released a vacancy withdrawal notice on 2nd July 2025, announcing the withdrawal of a total of 8653 posts advertised in various notifications during 2024. As per the Haryana Government’s memo no. 42/35/2025-5HR-II dated 16th May 2025, these vacancies will be re-advertised after the conduct of CET-01/2025. Importantly, candidates who were eligible under the original advertisements will remain eligible when the posts are re-advertised, ensuring no disadvantage to earlier applicants.
The withdrawn posts span across 15 different advertisement numbers, from Advt. No. 04/2024 to Advt. No. 15/2024. Among the major withdrawals are Advt. No. 14/2024, which alone included 5600 posts, and Advt. No. 10/2024, which consisted of three category numbers (390-392) totaling 1075 posts. Other notable withdrawals include 517 posts under Advt. No. 10/2024, Cat. 393-395, 367 posts from Advt. No. 08/2024, Cat. 19 & 212-225, and many others.
The Commission clarified that these posts will now be re-issued through fresh advertisements, but only after the completion of the CET-01/2025 exam, which is a mandatory eligibility test for Group C posts in Haryana. This move aligns with the government’s direction to streamline recruitment processes and ensure a fair opportunity based on updated eligibility norms via CET.
This withdrawal may cause temporary concern among aspirants, but it also ensures a more organized and transparent recruitment process in the long term. With the commitment that prior eligible candidates will still be considered in the upcoming notifications, the Commission has maintained fairness while transitioning to a CET-based recruitment system.
