DRDO DERL Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility norms to appear for the interview:
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Technical): B.E/B.Tech in ECE, Electronics & Instrumentation, CSE/IT/AI-ML, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in ECE, CSE, or Civil Engineering.
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Technical): B.Com, B.Com (Computers), or B.Sc (Computers).
- Pass-out Year: Candidates must have passed their respective courses in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidate will be calculated as on the date of the interview.
- Note: Minimum age is typically 18 years as per Apprenticeship rules.
Stipend and Training Duration
- Graduate Apprentice (Technical & Non-Technical): ₹12,300/- per month.
- Technician Apprentice: ₹10,900/- per month.
- Training Duration: 1 Year.
- Note: 50% of the stipend is paid by the office and 50% by BOAT via DBT.

The selection will be based on the performance in the Walk-in Interview.
