Eligibility Criteria for DVC Executive Trainee
Candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility conditions as of 23 December 2025.
1. Valid GATE 2025 Score
Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the corresponding paper of GATE 2025. GATE marks of 2024 or prior are not valid.

2. Educational Qualification
- Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation etc.) from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute.
- Minimum Marks: Not less than 65% marks for OBC (NCL) and 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in aggregate of all years/semesters.
3. Age Limit (as on 23.12.2025)
- Upper Age Limit: 29 Years (for General, reference age).

- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (+ Category relaxation)
- Note: There is no upper age limit for DVC Departmental candidates.
Salary and Compensation
Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level 10 (7th Pay Revision).
- Pay Scale: ₹ 56,100 – ₹ 1,77,500/- (M2 Grade).
- CTC: Includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, HRA, etc.
- Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond to serve DVC for at least 3 years after the 1-year probation (Total 4 years). Bond amount is ₹ 5 Lakhs for OBC and ₹ 2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST/PwBD.
