A total of 1377 vacancies have been announced across multiple posts including Female Staff Nurse, Assistant Section Officer, Audit Assistant, Legal Assistant, JSA, Stenographer, MTS, and more.
These positions will be filled across the NVS Headquarters, Regional Offices, NLI centers, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in different parts of India. NVS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
The age limit varies depending on the post. The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum can go up to 40 years for certain positions like Electrician cum Plumber. For most Group C posts, the upper age limit ranges from 27 to 35 years. Age will be calculated as per the closing date of the online application.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for relaxation as per government norms:
NVS employees (Contract/Daily Wage): Up to 5 years for some posts
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
PwBD (UR): 10 years | PwBD (OBC): 13 years | PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

NVS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for NVS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2024 varies post-wise. It primarily includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test/Trade Test/Interview, as applicable:
CBT + Skill/Typing/Trade Test: Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant (HQ/RO and JNV Cadre), Electrician cum Plumber, Mess Helper.
CBT + Interview: Legal Assistant.
Note: Skill/Typing/Trade Tests are qualifying in nature. Final selection will be based on CBT performance alone (except where interviews are applicable)
